Beloved husband and brother passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Age 70 years. The son of the late Lewis and Chloie (Sagesh) Gottlieb, Gary was born July 20, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Susan Pasionek, his loving wife of nearly 50 years, on June 19, 1971. She survives him. Gary earned his Bachelors of Science from SVSU and his Juris Doctorate from Cooley Law School in 1983. He was employed as a teacher at St. Charles Community High School from 1974-1986. Gary then worked for Lawyer’s Title and then owned and operated his own private law practice. He was a member of the Saginaw County Bar Association. Gary enjoyed fishing and traveling and loved spending time with family on the lake. Surviving besides his wife Susan one brother, two sisters and their spouses, Dennis and Barbara Gottlieb, Saginaw; Rene and Raul Martinez, Saginaw; Lynn and Todd Boyes, Mason; Gary’s mother-in-law, Betty Pasionek, Saginaw; brothers-in-law an d sisters-in-law, Celina Gottlieb, Saginaw; Roger Pasionek, Saginaw; Janie and Ray Maciejewski, Winter Springs, Florida; Kurt and Suzanne Pasionek, Palm Harbor, Florida; Michele and Tom Lemere, Royal Oak; many nieces and nephews. Gary was preceded in death by a son, Sean Gottlieb, by one brother, William Gottlieb, brother-in-law, Kevin Pasionek, and by his father-in-law, Ladislaus Pasionek. Gary’s family extends their gratitude and appreciation to McLaren Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Private funeral service will take place with entombment in St. Andrew Mausoleum. Deacon Roger Pasionek will officiate.
