All - we would love to place this case pro bono but understand that upon the partition and sale of the property, the client would have some resources to pay for services.
This is a home in Saginaw. The client left an abusive partner and the home they lived in. They were never married but the deed refers to them as "husband and wife." This was a deed after a ten year land contract, so there was a long term relationship. The client needs to get access to the proceeds from this asset to achieve stability in their current life.
