Dear Members of the Saginaw County Bar Association –

The Saginaw County Governmental Center has been closed to the public as of March 17, 2020.   Because the Saginaw County Register of Deeds is a constitutionally mandated office, and governed by Michigan State statutes we will be required to carry out our necessary functions.  Although this will look a bit different over the weeks to come, we are committed to fulfilling those duties of public service to the best of our ability while respecting the decisions of the County to keep the public and our employees safe. 

No person to person transactions will be executed during the closure, this includes document drop off and pick up.

1. In person after the Courthouse re-opens to the public
2. USPS
• Please provide a self-addressed and stamped envelope
3. SWIFT
• A link will be emailed to you with a PDF copy of your recorded document immediately upon recording.  The link will expire in 14 days and can only be clicked 3 times.  Please contact our office to sign up for this free service.
4. E-Recording
• Your e-recording vendor will give you immediate access to your recorded documents

Public Search Room –

1. In House - Available by appointment in 60 minute blocks of time.  Please contact the office to schedule a time.
2. Off Site – Web based access to our search is available via subscription.  Please contact the office for more information about Laredo Off-Site Access. 

Additionally I would like to add that recordings may be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.  If your organization is considering E-Recording I would highly encourage you to reach out to one of our E-Recording partners to get that capability in place.
