“The question has come up concerning the deadlines for scheduling orders and whether it would be necessary for attorneys to file a motion requesting an extension. The reality of our situation is we don’t know when the  courthouse will be re-opened, or when we will be hearing motions on civil cases.

In light of that reality, there will be an automatic 60 day extension granted at this time in all civil cases without the need to file a motion requesting it.  This matter will be reviewed again as the need may appear.” – Chief Judge Jackson
