Thank you to all the members who submitted names on the SCBA ballot for the Community Service Award.  Unfortunately, the ballot did not provide space for details about your nominee and the ballots were anonymous and we need more details because the Pro Bono Committee wants to use those names in our 2020 Pro Bono Week celebration.

Let us know why you nominated that person; or take this opportunity to make a nomination.    We are looking for a member who has been out there in the community doing social deeds not only those helping with legal issues but helping our community survive the traumas we have been facing i.e. flooding, pandemic, virtual schooling, etc.

Submit your reasons for nominating this person to me at scba@PROTECTED.  We are all in need of a positive twist to the misfortunes of 2020.  The Pro Bono Committee is trying to lift our spirits and show this year has not been in vain.  Help us honor those members that have made a commitment to the community.
