Established, state-wide, estate planning and elder law firm is seeking an Attorney for our Saginaw, Michigan office. All candidates must be licensed to practice in the State of Michigan to become a part of our team. All candidates must be dependable, personable, organized, and professional with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. An ability to work under pressure and maintain flexibility regarding work assignments is required. Candidates with previous elder law, estate planning and/or probate experience is preferred.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Meet with and represent clients regarding estate planning, estate and trust administration, elder law, guardianship, conservatorship, and other general probate matters.
• Represent clients in court or before government agencies.
• Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Familiarity and experience with elder law, estate planning, or probate/trust litigation work is preferred.
• Familiarity with various legal documents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Maturity and ability to meet with clients with minimal or no supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt and work effectively with various levels of legal staff.
• Willingness to travel to other Counties within the State of Michigan.

This position is for our Saginaw office location only.

Compensation will be adjusted based on experience.
