Kenneth Kable

November 25, 1946 - December 15, 2020

Beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Covenant HealthCare Cooper. Age 74 years. The son of the late Wayne and Antoinette (Gorka) Kable, Ken was born November 25, 1946 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He married Dorothy Wappenhensch, his loving wife of 44 years, on April 10, 1976. She survives him. Ken earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in 1969 and his Juris Doctorate at the University of Notre Dame in 1972. He spent his entire law career at Braun-Kendrick-Finkbeiner for many years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council #4232. Ken enjoyed traveling the world, going to the casino, gardening and reading. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife Dorothy are two sons, one daughter and their spouses, Mark and Marcie Kable, Saginaw; Timothy and Sanober Kable, Allen, Texas; Laura and Gregory Crabtree, Saginaw; six grandchildren, Quinn, Collin, Michael, Sofia, Luke and Zachary; one sister, Cheryl and Michael Hassett; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Liturgy will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State Street in Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at St. Thomas Aquinas Church where the family will be present on Monday from 12:00 noon until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
