Please join us for our Annual Meeting to be held at the Saginaw Club on
June 10, 2021. The program will include a presentation by Vanessa Guerra, the newly elected Saginaw County Clerk and member of WLAM. Our program will also include the swearing in for our new
GLBR Executive Board and Presentation of Banners to our Judge and Referee members.
We will also be presenting our Regional Award in the name of Margaret Louise Rorke, the first known female lawyer in our region! She was admitted into the bar in November of 1941.
For the first time ever, we will also be presenting the Liberty Bell Award. The award recognizes outstanding service performed by a non-lawyer citizen who has given his or her time and energy to strengthen the effectiveness of the American system of freedom
under law, in keeping with the spirit of our Constitution. This award is given by local bar associations throughout the state. The State Bar of Michigan Awards Committee selects the statewide Liberty Bell Award winner from local bar winners.

COST: $30 for members, $35 for future/non-members, $40 at door if no RSVP received in advance

We are looking for sponsors for this event. Sponsorship levels include: Silver (table sponsor) - $150.00, includes promotional material on a dinner table; Gold (sign sponsor) - $250, includes
recognition on promotional materials at the event and announcement. Please let us know of any interest in sponsoring the event.
We will be following all safety protocols from the state and local government regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Anyone
that is not vaccinated must wear a mask. We are mindful that there may be changes regarding these protocols by the time of the event. We will be enforcing those protocols that are in place at that time. Should this event need to be cancelled or rescheduled,
