Legal Services, Great Lakes Bay Michigan Works!, Saginaw County Sheriff Department, SCBA Pro Bono Committee and the Saginaw County Clerk are hosting an Expungement Fair to be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Michigan Works location in Downtown Saginaw. The time for the event is 2pm - 7pm.

For the event, all applicants will be pre-screened. This will allow us to determine if they are eligible and for us to have time to gather all of the necessary documentation to prepare and submit the application. 

We are currently seeking pro bono attorneys to help with this event. The opportunities to help include:

1. Prior to the event, we are looking for pro bono attorneys to perform ICHAT reviews to determine if a person meets the eligibility criteria to have their convictions set aside. 

2. The day of the event, we are looking for volunteer attorneys to meet with clients and prepare the court forms and answer questions. 

3. We are also looking for pro bono attorneys to attend the hearings with the clients.
