Greetings Fellow SCBA Members,

As we begin the SCBA 2021-2022 term, your Board and I are working on filing committee positions, as well as committee chairs and Board liaisons. Some of our goals for this year are to encourage continued participation in our committees from those members who have dutifully served as committee members, chairs, and Board liaisons, as well as to encourage members who either have not served on a committee or who are new members to participate in the administration of their Association. Accordingly, I have attached a document listing our committees and detailing their purpose and responsibilities. Participation in our committee system is a great way to get to know your fellow SCBA members, as well as develop professional and community contacts. It is my hope that if you would like to get more involved in the SCBA, our legal community, and are interested in community outreach and networking opportunities, that you please review the attachment and let me know if you see something you are interred in.

For those of you who currently serve on a committee, thank you for your service and please let me know if you would like to continue to serve in your current capacity or if another role piques your interest.
