The Saginaw County Probate Court has contracted with several attorneys over the years to handle involuntary mental health commitments and to provide representation to developmentally disabled individuals.  We will contract for a (3) three year period beginning October 1, 2021 through September 30, 2024.  Your placement on the docket will begin January 1, 2022.

Currently we have five attorneys on contract and are looking to have a total of six.  Anyone interested in applying for these six positions must apply/or re-apply by sending a letter of interest, a resume, summary of qualifications and a copy of your liability insurance to the Court no later than September 8, 2021.

The contract indicates you must be available to travel to Healthsource and/or McLaren Bay Regional  on Thursdays and Mondays prior to the Wednesday docket and occasionally an addition trip to Havenwyck or Mid-Michigan Regional with an additional rate of $75.00 per hour.  The weekly rate is $950.00.
