In late August, I attempted to help jail resources by issuing a notice that no jailed defendants would appear for status conferences, pre-trials or final pre-trials, unless otherwise requested.  Unfortunately, this practice has not worked well and my court will now return to having all jailed defendants appear for status conferences, pre-trials and final pre-trials.  Thank you for your cooperation.
