Judge Dicken is making a few changes to the scheduling of motion hearings on Monday.  Please be advised that these changes will take effect February 13, 2023.  

The time slots/alpha splits are staying the same for the morning sessions, however, we are limiting each hour to 15 hearings to ensure we can give ample time to all litigants.  All pro per vs pro per hearings will be set at 1:30 p.m. regardless of last name, and all pro con hearings will be set at 3:00 pm via ZOOM. (Zoom ID 937-405-6406).

 

For an easier reference, our Monday calendar sessions will look like this.

 

9:00       Motions A-G                      (15 slots)

10:00     Motions H-O                      (15 slots)

11:00     Motions P-Z                        (15 slots)

 

1:30       Motions – Pro Per            (15 slots)

3:00       Pro Cons via Zoom           (No limit)

 

New scheduling orders containing pre-trial conferences and settlement conferences will be forthcoming on all cases filed since November 2022.  Pre-Trial conferences will be held on Zoom.  Parties may request zoom attendance for Monday motion days by calling Judicial Assistant, Kelsey Harper at 989-790-5484 and requests will be liberally granted.  Requests to appear by zoom for settlement conferences, evidentiary hearings, and trials will require extenuating circumstances."
