George was classy, brilliant and humble all in the same package; his dry and timely wit will never be matched. We served in the prosecutor's office and starved together. What a guy!

George was with me in the city attorney’s office back in 1969. I always loved that guy. He was a credit to the MBA as well as our own. Many stories and a hundred good times. I will miss his humor, his grace and his humanity
