Volunteer to partcipate as an Attorney-Advisor for the

2025 Law Day Mock Trials

The Law Day Committee would like to invite members of SCBA to volunteer to work with a local high school in preparing their trial for the 2025 Mock Trial Competition. Trials will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025.  

Please consider this request.  Students find this opportunity very rewarding, and appricate the attorneys assisting them.

2025 Liberty Bell Nominations

“The Liberty Bell award is presented each year by the Saginaw County Bar Association during the Law Day celebration.  The award honors one outstanding citizen whose selflessness contributions have enriched our principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Any resident of Saginaw County, Michigan who does not hold a law degree is eligible.  Letters of nomination should include the name, address, phone number of the nominee, and the reason for the nomination.  Please also include a summary of the nominee’s qualifications for the award.

The Liberty Bell Award has been presented in observance of Law Day celebrations, annually since 1958. 

The SBM Awards Committee selects the Statewide Liberty Bell Award winner from local bar winners submitted to the State Bar.
